Tywyn

From idyllic walks along the beach to sporting activities at the leisure centre, there are plenty of things to do when staying at our Tywyn caravan park. Tywyn has a beautifully expansive sandy beach which is perfect for adrenaline junkies, with activities including jet-skiing, wind surfing and canoeing. The beach is large enough to accommodate all types of seaside days out; if adrenaline invoking water sports are not your ideal day out, there is plenty of space to sunbathe and unwind in the sun. You can even spot dolphins from this treasured seafront. Enjoy special moments and making memories at our Tywyn caravan park.

Visitors love Tywyn for its family friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Like all large, Welsh seaside towns, there’s plenty to keep children occupied and having fun, including Tywyn Leisure Park and amusements and arcades. After a day filled with activities, the whole family can relax and unwind at Tywyn’s very own independent cinema, The Magic Lantern. A much-loved treasure by locals and visitors alike, The Magic Lantern also has an outdoor bar called The Secret Garden.

There are many great restaurants in Tywyn to choose from. Tywyn restaurants are known for their fresh, locally sourced produce. From meat bred within just a mere few miles of the town and fish caught in Cardigan Bay, the local chefs really do serve the best quality food. You’ll find plenty of pubs and cafes in Tywyn, as well as (of course!), the unbeatable Welsh fish and chips.

The Wales Coastal Path will take you to the stunning seaside town of Aberdovey, and you are perfectly located to take a countryside walk or cycle through some of the trails in Snowdonia National Park. The ideal base to explore so many different areas of Mid Wales, it’s no wonder people love Tywyn so much.

There are many lakes in North Wales, but the Cregennan Lakes, just a short drive from Tywyn is a place of true natural beauty. The lakes are just a mile from the village Arthog and are perfect for gentle walking and cycling, and you can pop into the Cadair Idris Visitor Centre for tea and coffee.
